Hantoo Asset Management. ACE US 30-Year Treasury Yen Exposure Active... "Continued Net Buying by Individuals"

Korea Investment Trust Management announced on the 27th that net purchases by individual investors of the ACE US 30-Year Treasury Yen Exposure Active (H) Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) have continued for more than 10 trading days. Since its listing on the 12th, individual net buying has persisted without a single day of decline.

According to the Korea Exchange, net purchases by individual investors in the ACE US 30-Year Treasury Yen Exposure Active (H) ETF reached 15.9 billion KRW as of the 26th of this month. This marks 11 consecutive trading days of net buying by individual investors since its listing. The net asset value also surpassed 25 billion KRW within two weeks of listing.

The ACE US 30-Year Treasury Yen Exposure Active (H) ETF is a physical product that simultaneously invests in US 30-year Treasury bonds and Japanese yen. It is characterized by monthly dividend payments based on physical assets. Among ETFs listed domestically, it is the only product that simultaneously invests in US 30-year Treasury bonds and Japanese yen while paying monthly dividends. The benchmark index is the Bloomberg US Treasury 20+ Year Total Return Index T1530 JPY Currency Hedged Index KRW-converted index.

Korea Investment Trust Management’s ACE US 30-Year Treasury Yen Exposure Active (H) ETF targets such domestic investor demand. Investing in the ACE US 30-Year Treasury Yen Exposure Active (H) ETF can save about 1% in currency exchange fees.

Kim Seung-hyun, head of ETF consulting at Korea Investment Trust Management, explained, "The ACE US 30-Year Treasury Yen Exposure Active (H) ETF, being a physical structure product, has relatively lower actual costs for investors compared to synthetic types."

He added, "Since the Bank of Japan (BOJ) recently decided to raise interest rates for the first time in 17 years, the yen’s depreciation trend is expected to stabilize. The ACE US 30-Year Treasury Yen Exposure Active (H) ETF, which allows investors to simultaneously benefit from yen appreciation and capital gains from US Treasury bonds due to future US interest rate cuts, while receiving monthly dividends, will be a good investment tool."
