Samjin Fish Cake Ranks No.1 Again in Korea Industrial Brand Power Survey

Marine Processed Food Sector Achieves '4 Consecutive Years' of Excellence

Samjin Eomuk (CEO Park Yong-jun) has secured the first place for four consecutive years in the seafood processed food category of the ‘2024 Korea Industry Brand Power (K-BPI)’ organized by the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC).


The Korea Industry Brand Power (K-BPI) indexes brand power such as brand awareness and loyalty for products and services that hold significant importance in domestic consumer life.


This survey was conducted through individual interviews over approximately four months from October last year to January this year, targeting 12,500 men and women aged 15 to under 60 in Seoul and six metropolitan cities (Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, Ulsan, Daejeon, Incheon), selecting the top brand in each category.


Samjin Eomuk led the growth of the fish cake industry by developing fish cakes, which were traditionally recognized as side dish ingredients, into bakery-style snacks, receiving the highest evaluations in brand awareness and initial recognition, thus claiming first place in the seafood processed food category.


Since the seafood processed food category was newly established in the Korea Industry Brand Power (K-BPI) in 2021, Samjin Eomuk has maintained the top position for four consecutive years.


To celebrate this, Samjin Eomuk is conducting various customer appreciation events. On the official Samjin Eomuk online mall, a 10% discount is offered on fish cake gift set purchases until the 30th of next month, and a limited quantity 1+1 event for popular fish cakes is held weekly.


Additionally, by leaving comments on the online mall and Samjin Eomuk’s official Instagram account, customers will have a chance to win gifts such as premium fish cake sets through a lottery.
