Nutrition "Onshim Market" - Jeon A-yeon "Apartment Life" Collaboration
Yeongyang-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, has established a new foundation for advancing the distribution channels of agricultural specialty products by linking the online shopping mall “Onsim Market” with the National Apartment Residents’ Representatives Association “Apartment Life Mall” (Chairman Kim Won-il) starting from March 22.
Since November 21, 2022, Yeongyang-gun’s Onsim Market has built an integrated platform with Gyeongbuk’s hometown marketplace ‘Saiso,’ contributing to the expansion of online customers and improvement of direct transaction performance.
Apartment Life is operated by the National Apartment Residents’ Association and serves as a dedicated website providing extensive information on apartment management regulations, laws, socio-economic issues, health and culture, and local events to approximately 15 million apartment resident members nationwide.
Last October, the county signed a joint cooperation agreement for urban-rural win-win development with the National Apartment Residents’ Association, the first among local governments nationwide. Large-scale direct transaction events were held in Daegu and Ulsan, opening a new chapter in integrated marketing. As a result, Yeongyang-gun’s agricultural specialty products can now be directly accessed through the Apartment Residents’ Representatives Association website. This achievement was the outcome of multiple consultations with the National Apartment Residents’ Association to expand online sales.
Kim Won-il, Chairman of the National Apartment Residents’ Association, stated, “The collaboration between the National Apartment Residents’ Association and Yeongyang-gun as a joint cooperation body for urban-rural win-win development is highly meaningful. I will continue to take the lead in revitalizing local agriculture as an ambassador for Yeongyang-gun.”
Governor Oh Do-chang said, “In the rapidly changing distribution market, the online linkage between ‘Onsim Market’ and ‘Apartment Life’ will mark a new beginning for integrated marketing. We will continue to implement various agricultural policies to expand both online and offline distribution channels and increase farm income.”
