Han Dong-hoon, Emergency Response Committee Chairman of the People Power Party, will pay a visit to former President Park Geun-hye at 11 a.m. on the 26th.

This is the first time Chairman Han is visiting former President Park.

On the 25th, Chairman Han spoke to reporters after the on-site Central Election Countermeasures Committee meeting about this visit, saying, "As a politician, it is not strange to visit a former president."

In response to criticism that he was going to meet a former president he had investigated in the past, he said, "They have already been pardoned, and everyone knows the details," adding, "Unlike Lee Jae-myung or Cho Kuk, former President Park is not trying to seize power."

Chairman Han investigated the ‘Park Geun-hye state corruption’ allegations together with President Yoon Suk-yeol.

He continued, "(Former President Park) has been pardoned," and added, "I also plan to visit former President Lee Myung-bak. It is not unusual for politicians to visit former presidents."
