Sacheon-si Supports Kitchen Hygiene Environment Improvement for General Restaurants

Support for Facility Improvement in Commercial Kitchen

Sacheon City in Gyeongnam announced on the 25th that it will promote the "2024 Kitchen Hygiene Environment Improvement Support Project for General Restaurants" to improve the kitchen hygiene level of general restaurants with poor kitchen hygiene conditions due to long-term operation.

This support project targets general restaurant owners who have been continuously operating at the current business location for more than two years, providing 70% of the facility improvement costs per business (up to 3.5 million KRW).

However, in cases of succession of status, new business owners of the establishment are also eligible. The improvement targets include costs for painting, replacement, and cleaning of unsanitary walls, tiles, hood facilities, and kitchen equipment within the business kitchen.

Businesses wishing to apply can visit the Sacheon City Public Health Center's Health and Hygiene Division from April 1 to April 30, or download the application forms from the Sacheon City website and submit them by mail.
