From the 19th until the day before, the organization carried out various programs under the slogan "One Step Towards Korea." This roadshow was planned to capture outbound tourism demand, with over 60,000 consumers participating across the three cities.

The roadshow featured ▲ a Korean tourism talk show with NCT WISH and actor Bae In-hyuk ▲ promotional booths from domestic local governments and tourism venture companies ▲ experiential content related to Korean travel, food, and beauty.

The organization plans to donate 10% of the proceeds from the gourmet experience event to the victims of the Noto Peninsula earthquake in Ishikawa Prefecture that occurred in January.

Additionally, business consultation meetings and industry networking events targeting B2B (business-to-business) efforts such as Korean travel product development were held. Over 50 tourism-related organizations, including regional tourism organizations, duty-free shops, and performance associations, participated, conducting approximately 450 consultations on-site. At the "Korea-Japan Tourism Exchange Night" event, performances by the National Gugak Center and Gugak artist Song So-hee received positive responses.

Collaboration with Japanese private companies is also being promoted. A business agreement was signed with JCB, a leading Japanese credit card company, and starting next month, promotions to revitalize local tourism in Korea and increase tourism consumption will be launched.

Lee Hak-joo, Director of the International Tourism Headquarters at the Korea Tourism Organization, said, "Among all Japanese outbound travelers last year, 24% visited Korea, making it the largest share. This year, we plan to continue various promotional projects to allow people to experience the diverse charms of every corner of Korea, fueled by the ongoing popularity of the Korean Wave and interest in Korea."

The Korea Tourism Organization plans to strengthen Korean tourism promotion by holding the "One Step" roadshow in Sapporo in May and in Osaka and Nagoya in June.
