Ichon City in Gyeonggi Province is recruiting 20 trainees for the 2024 Beginner Urban Farmer Experience Class until the 17th of next month.
The experience class consists of garden cultivation and home horticulture education, and is held once a week over 20 weeks from May 1 to September 11. Any citizen interested in urban agriculture can apply.
Applicants can download the application form from the Ichon City Agricultural Technology Center website, fill it out, and then submit it by visiting the Agricultural Promotion Division of the Agricultural Technology Center or by email.
Jung Hyun-sook, head of the Agricultural Promotion Division of Ichon City, said, "We will make various efforts to revitalize urban agriculture and spread its multifaceted values."
