MOU Signed... Challenging the Agricultural AI Market
KT is partnering with agricultural platform company Daedong to develop AI-based precision agriculture services and pioneer new markets through the robotics business.

On the 24th, KT announced that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at Daedong's Seoul office building, attended by Shin Su-jeong, Vice President and Head of KT's Strategy and New Business Division, and Won Yoo-hyun, Co-CEO (Vice Chairman) of Daedong.
The two companies will promote the pioneering of the 'Agricultural AI' market through the robotics business by developing AI systems for robots and innovating agricultural services.
To this end, they agreed to mutually cooperate on five key areas: ▲ development of AI agricultural robot systems ▲ innovation of agricultural AI technology based on large language models (LLM) ▲ development of smart farming based on on-device AI technology ▲ promotion of robotics business in agricultural and non-agricultural sectors ▲ establishment of Daedong Group's data platform.
Vice President Shin stated, "As a digital innovation partner creating the future, KT will lead the digital transformation of the agricultural market by applying its advanced digital capabilities accumulated so far to agricultural robots and precision agriculture."
Vice Chairman Won said, "Our goal is to realize a global AI robotics business by combining cutting-edge AI technology with agricultural machinery manufacturing capabilities," adding, "We will pursue comprehensive cooperation with KT, which has accumulated an AI robot ecosystem."
