"Although promises were made, many plans have not been implemented, but I will show you that they are being realized."
On the first day of official candidate registration for the 22nd National Assembly election, on the 21st, Jo Hae-jin, the candidate from the People Power Party, officially declared his candidacy for Gimhae-eul, Gyeongnam.
Candidate Jo held a press conference at the Gimhae City Hall Press Center and said, "Today, I am registering as the People Power Party candidate for the 22nd general election in Gimhae-eul."
"The citizens of Gimhae are desperate for change, and party members have given a special mission to lead a nationwide victory through the Nakdong River Belt victory and to prepare a turning point for Gimhae's new leap," he said, adding, "In response to this mission, I will unite the hopes of citizens and party members into one team."
"I will promptly resolve old issues and promote innovative alternatives to transform Gimhae into a new urban community at a higher level," he emphasized.
He said, "Having served as a three-term National Assembly member, I have solved many problems, handled many tasks, and achieved many results," and added, "I will use my experience, know-how, and extensive network to resolve local issues in the Gimhae area."
"I will vigorously implement the policy tasks raised by both ruling and opposition parties in Gimhae, establish new growth engines to open the future of the region, and dramatically improve the lives of citizens," he also said.

Candidate Jo stated, "When the second metropolitan area is constructed as a counterpoint to the Seoul metropolitan area, Gimhae will be its center and hub. When the mega-city of the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam (Bu-Ul-Gyeong) super metropolitan living area is formed, Gimhae will also be the optimal central city," and added, "When Gadeokdo New Airport opens, Gimhae will be the first-priority hinterland airport city, so we must redraw the blueprint for Gimhae in preparation for this."
To this end, he announced the 'Jumping Gimhae 1, 2, 3 pledges,' which focus on ▲securing new industrial sites ▲promoting innovation cities ▲establishing a new growth structure led by large corporations.
Within the four-year term of the 22nd National Assembly, his main pledges include attracting one national industrial complex, two government public institutions, three competitive large corporations, a Northeast Asia logistics base within the national industrial complex, and public institutions such as a national R&D (research and development) center for new growth engine industries.
He also promised improvements in the medical system such as reorganizing the public transportation system, attracting higher-level medical institutions, and establishing a pediatric emergency medical system, as well as improvements in the educational environment and strengthening competitiveness for university entrance exams.
"After being elected, by leveraging the power of the ruling party and the increased influence as a four-term lawmaker, I will be able to quickly fulfill the hopes of the citizens of Gimhae," he explained, adding, "I created these pledges believing it is my duty to produce an unpresented blueprint, bigger alternatives, and policies to make Gimhae leap forward."
"Instead of saying I will bury my bones in Gimhae after being elected, I will show you how I live day by day here and my political activities," he said, adding, "I believe trust from the citizens will build during this process, and even if I lose, I will not leave the region."
Candidate Jo said, "Jo Hae-jin, who works well, Jo Hae-jin, the problem solver, Jo Hae-jin, the capable person, has come to Gimhae, where there is much to be done," and added, "As someone who has worked, solved problems, and achieved results, I will achieve a victorious outcome with a resolve of life-or-death and create a premium city to meet the expectations of the citizens."
