When traveling abroad, you will be able to leave your pet dog at Incheon International Airport.

On the 21st, Incheon International Airport Corporation announced the launch of the 'Incheon International Airport Pet Hotel Boarding Service and Pet Garden,' which allows passengers to leave their pet dogs at the airport.

After prior consultation and reservation, passengers can leave their pet dogs at the pet hotel boarding counter near Gate 14 on the west side of the 1st floor of Terminal 1 at Incheon International Airport when departing abroad, and pick them up upon arrival.

The entrusted pets will be moved to a pet hotel operated by 'Dokdok' on Yeongjong Island, where they will receive customized care. The pet hotel operated by Dokdok is located about a 10-minute drive from Terminal 1 of Incheon Airport. It has a total area of approximately 4,000㎡ and more than 50 rooms. It is also equipped with an indoor pet stadium, outdoor playground, and pet studio.

'Pet Garden' is a service for those traveling with their pet dogs. It is a garden for pets and their owners located in the green area on the west side of the basement level 1 of the 1st Transportation Center. It is designed to allow pets to be walked before departure.

In the second half of this year, the 'Incheon International Airport Pet Lounge,' equipped with a hotel boarding service counter and a free convenience space exclusively for passengers accompanied by pets, is also scheduled to open.

Lee Hak-jae, President of Incheon International Airport Corporation, said, "As the pet dog population in our country has exceeded 18 million, living and traveling with pets has become natural," and added, "We will gradually expand pet-friendly airport services to satisfy the diverse needs of Incheon International Airport users."
