[2024 Housing Culture] Umi Construction Introduces Fine Dust Reduction and Smart Home Services

Woomi Construction recently applied cutting-edge systems such as fine dust reduction devices and smart home services to residential spaces, significantly enhancing the convenience of actual living. ‘Daejeon Seongnam Woomirin New City,’ supplied by Woomi Construction in Seongnam-dong, Dong-gu, Daejeon, is a representative complex equipped with such conveniences.


This complex is equipped with an ‘Air Clean System’ that helps reduce fine dust. The clean air supply and exhaust system installed in each household blocks fine dust through HEPA filters. Then, the waste heat recovered when discharging polluted indoor air maintains indoor temperature and humidity. Woomi Construction also installed a system that automatically ventilates by detecting fine dust and carbon dioxide concentrations inside the household. The air quality measuring devices installed in the complex allow residents to check real-time air quality information via a smartphone application (app). Materials such as household wallpaper, flooring, and adhesives are constructed with eco-friendly materials to reduce harmful substances.


Woomi Construction also installed the smart home service ‘Lynn IoT.’ Through this app, users can control gas valves, lighting, heating, and ventilation. Services such as elevator calls, visitor vehicle registration, electricity and gas usage inquiries, and delivery notifications can be conveniently used both inside and outside the household.


A Woomi Construction official explained, "We devoted great effort to enhance residents’ convenience by applying cutting-edge systems such as the Air Clean System and smart home services."
