Singer Jo Gwan-woo (real name Jo Gwang-ho) will hold a solo concert to celebrate his 30th anniversary.
On the 20th, entertainment agency Yoon Story Entertainment announced that Jo Gwan-woo's 30th anniversary concert, "The Memories: From Gwan-woo to Gwang-ho," will be held on May 11 at Myeonghwa Live Hall in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul.
This concert is Jo Gwan-woo's first solo concert in 10 years, where fans can enjoy his representative hit "Neup" as well as other classic songs. The concert poster was photographed by singer and photographer Yoo Tae-pyung-yang. Yoo Tae-pyung-yang was a disciple of Jo Gwan-woo's father, master singer Jo Tong-dal, and the special connection among the three has been featured in various media.
The performance will serve as a 30th anniversary stage, featuring a setlist composed of his numerous hit songs and classics. In addition to the representative song "Neup," released in 1994, a variety of songs included in the LP album released under his real name Jo Gwang-ho before his debut will also be showcased.
Jo Gwan-woo, who employs a vocal technique that seamlessly transitions between chest voice and falsetto, debuted in 1994 with his first album "My First Story" and released numerous hits such as "Nim-eun Meon-gose," "Kkotbat-eseo," and "Saranghaesseum-euro."
He gained great popularity after appearing on the singing competition program "I Am a Singer" in 2011, and attracted attention in 2018 by releasing a full-length album for the first time in 15 years.
