Hana Bank announced on the 21st that it has launched the ‘Daldal Hana Account’ for salaried workers.
By receiving salary transfers through this account, customers can earn up to an annual interest rate of 3.0% (limited to 2 million KRW). The basic interest rate is 0.1% per year, with a preferential interest rate of 1.9% per year applied if there is a salary record from the previous month. The first 300,000 customers who sign up by December 31 this year will receive a special preferential interest rate of 1.0% per year for one year after joining.
The account also offers fee waiver services. As long as there is a salary record, all transfer and withdrawal fees for transactions made from this account, as well as withdrawal fees from ATMs of other banks, are waived.
Along with the product launch, an event is being held for customers who receive their salary at Hana Bank for the first time, providing lifestyle coupons worth 5,000 KRW per month for up to 12 months. The event targets the first 300,000 customers who sign up by the end of this year, and coupons can be received monthly as long as there is a salary record from the previous month.
There are 11 types of coupons available. Customers can choose their preferred benefit each month from one loan interest cashback coupon for loan users and 10 lifestyle coupons including coffee, convenience stores, delivery applications (apps), and drugstores.
A representative from Hana Bank’s Retail Products Department said, “We prepared this product and event so that salaried workers can feel even a small happiness while receiving their salary,” adding, “We will strive to take care of even the smallest details to ensure customer satisfaction for those who receive their salary through Hana Bank.”
