12 Former Mayors Participate
"Irreplaceable Figures Responsible for Development"
Jang Seong-min, the People Power Party candidate running in Ansan Gap, Gyeonggi Province, and former Future Strategy Planning Officer at the Presidential Office, announced on the 20th that former mayors from the Gyeonggi region have declared their support.
On the same day, Jang posted on his Facebook, stating, "Twelve former mayors, including Kim Yong-seo, former mayor of Suwon, Lee Yeon-su, former mayor of Siheung, and Song Jin-seop, former mayor of Ansan, participated," revealing this support.
In their declaration of support, the former mayors described Jang as "the only alternative to firmly establish Ansan as the economic center of Gyeonggi Province" and "an irreplaceable figure responsible for the development of Gyeonggi Province and Ansan City."
They continued, "By attracting the Immigration Office, announced as the first campaign pledge, it is possible to create 2,000 to 3,000 local jobs," emphasizing, "We have no doubt that Ansan will become the mecca of South Korea's economic growth."
