Kakao has recruited Lee Sang-ho, former Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of SK Telecom.

According to industry sources on the 20th, Lee Sang-ho is expected to lead the newly established artificial intelligence (AI) division created during Kakao's organizational restructuring this year. It is known that he is currently working as a member of the management support team without a specific position. Once Jeong Sin-ah, the designated CEO, officially begins her term through the Kakao shareholders' meeting, his exact role is expected to be determined.

Lee Sang-ho has served as CTO of SK Planet, head of SK Telecom's AI business unit, CEO of 11st, CEO of SK Communications, and CTO of SK Telecom. He also led the development of the AI speaker service "NUGU".
