Lee Jun-seok, leader of the Reform New Party, said on the 20th to Han Dong-hoon, Emergency Response Committee Chairman of the People Power Party, "I hope you break the 'Three Laws of Robotics' that are constraining you and engage in politics with some understanding of the people's desire for regime judgment."
At the Supreme Council meeting held at the National Assembly that morning, Lee said, "Cut off the chain of President Yoon Seok-yeol's interference in party affairs." This was an evaluation related to recent disagreements between the presidential office and the ruling party regarding the return of Ambassador Lee Jong-seop to Australia and the resignation of Hwang Sang-moo, Senior Secretary for Civil Society at the presidential office.
Lee criticized, "According to the First Law of Robotics presented in 'I, Robot,' robots must not harm humans," adding, "Chairman Han, who should be President Yoon's avatar, apparently must not harm President Yoon and First Lady Kim Keon-hee under any circumstances, nor infringe upon their interests."
He continued, "Ahead of the general election candidate registration, the robot master and the robot within the ruling party are once again causing frowns," sarcastically adding, "The robot master is a person with a nasty personality, and the selfie robot is wandering between the desire for power and the First Law of Robotics."
Lee argued, "The Third Law of Robotics states that a robot must protect itself as long as it does not violate the First and Second Laws," and claimed, "Chairman Han has reached a situation where he must abandon the First and Second Laws to protect the party he inadvertently leads and himself."
He said, "The ending of 'I, Robot' presented the future robot ideal as VIKI, a super-rational robot that finds contradictions in the Three Laws of Robotics, and Sonny, a robot whose emotions develop and begin to emerge," adding, "Unless you want to stage a Second Promise Duel, cut off President Yoon's interference in party affairs."
