Doosan Bobcat Named One of Fast Company's '2024 World's Most Innovative Companies' in the US

Recognized for Smart Eco-Friendly Technology and Manufacturing Equipment Innovation

Doosan Bobcat has been selected in the manufacturing sector of 'The World’s Most Innovative Companies of 2024' by the US economic media Fast Company.


Doosan Bobcat announced on the 19th (local time) that Fast Company made this announcement.


Doosan Bobcat was recognized for its world-first developed skid-steer loader technology and innovation in manufacturing facilities.


Since 2022, Doosan Bobcat has unveiled two fully electric loaders for the first time in the industry and also introduced two unmanned concept machines without operator cabins.


At CES 2024, the world's largest electronics and IT exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA, this January, the company introduced the industry's first unmanned articulated tractor along with an autonomous lawn mower product. It received CES Innovation Awards in two categories in 2022 and this year respectively. In May last year, it was also selected in the transportation category of Fast Company's 'World Changing Ideas Awards.'

Fast Company also highlighted Doosan Bobcat's innovation in manufacturing facilities. Last year, Doosan Bobcat invested about 12 billion KRW in its Gwinner plant in North Dakota to introduce an automatic press that stamps steel plate molds, and through various facility upgrades, it has reduced manual work and improved accuracy.


Scott Park, Vice Chairman of Doosan Bobcat, said, "Our goal is to develop practical technologies that solve problems faced by customers," adding, "Based on the innovative DNA that founded the compact equipment industry, we will become a game changer that changes the industry landscape."
