Gyeongsangnam-do, Sacheon City, and the Ministry of Science and ICT are accelerating preparations for the opening of the Sacheon Aerospace Agency.
On the 19th, Kim Myung-joo, Deputy Governor of Gyeongsangnam-do, visited the temporary office site with Lee Chang-yoon, First Vice Minister of the Ministry of Science and ICT, to check the preparation status for the Aerospace Agency scheduled to open in May.

At the meeting held in the temporary office conference room, opinions were exchanged with Sacheon Mayor Park Dong-sik and others regarding the creation of the office environment in the temporary office currently under detailed design and the living conditions for Aerospace Agency employees.
At the meeting, the Ministry of Science and ICT announced that it would start renovation work on the temporary office early next month to establish the office environment before the Aerospace Agency opens.
Gyeongsangnam-do announced plans to improve transportation and living condition infrastructure for employees working at the Aerospace Agency.
They also proposed projects for the development of global advanced aviation mobility leading technologies and support for the creation of a digital innovation hub to advance the aviation industry and foster the future aviation mobility (AAM) industry ecosystem.
Sacheon City explained support policies for the stable settlement of relocated employees.

Deputy Governor Kim said, “We will prepare thoroughly and actively support to ensure there are no setbacks in the opening of the Aerospace Agency,” adding, “We will do our best to build an aerospace complex city where industry and culture harmonize centered on the Aerospace Agency, making it a successful example of local decentralization.”
