Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province is recruiting participants for the 'Visiting Budget School and Proposal School' until the 29th.
The 'Visiting Budget School and Proposal School' is designed to enhance citizens' awareness of the participatory budgeting system by providing education ranging from theoretical lessons to how to write project proposals. The school will be held for three months from April to June.
The education is open to Anseong residents as well as employees and students working or studying in Anseong. The city plans to promote the education by accepting applications from groups (gatherings) of 15 or more people composed of eligible participants.
To apply, applicants must fill out the application form posted on the Anseong City website and submit it in person to the Strategic Planning Officer at City Hall or send it via email or fax.
A city official stated, "We plan to organize the content tailored to the education target to provide immersive education," adding, "Especially this year, to encourage youth participation, we will conduct education for teenagers for the first time."
