Silla University Holds the 19th Best Teacher Award Ceremony

On the 19th at 3 PM, Silla University held the 'Best Teacher Awards' ceremony in the President's Reception Room on the 6th floor of the University Headquarters, attended by President Heo Nam-sik, key officials, and award recipients.

Since 2005, the 'Best Teacher Awards' have been presented annually to exemplary faculty members based on a comprehensive evaluation of their teaching evaluations and participation in faculty competency programs over the year.


At this ceremony, Professors Cho Eui-su (Department of Social Welfare), Kim Su-jin (Department of Future Convergence), Choi Pan-ho (Department of Aviation Services), Kim Ju-seong (Department of Nursing), Jeong Gyeong-im (Department of Food and Nutrition), and Kim In-hyeong (Department of Physical Education) received the main awards.


The Center for Teaching and Learning Development strives to enhance the capabilities of all members by sharing the teaching know-how and experiences of awardees with new faculty and campus members through faculty training every year.


Han Ji-young, Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning Development at Silla University, said, “We appreciate the passion and relentless efforts of the professors who have worked to improve the quality of university education,” and added, “The Center will continue to devote itself to supporting professors’ teaching and research.”
