Han Dong-hoon, Emergency Response Committee Chairman and General Election Committee Chairman of the People Power Party, targeted the Hangang Belt by visiting Dongjak-gu, Seodaemun-gu, and Mapo-gu amid the emerging crisis theory in the metropolitan area for the April 10 general election.

On the afternoon of the 19th, Chairman Han first visited Namseong Saje Market in Dongjak-gu, saying, "I have come to Dongjak, the core of Seoul, where Na Kyung-won (Dongjak-eul) and Jang Jin-young (Dongjak-gap) are," and added, "From today, for 22 days, we will run desperately with the determination to stand and die for your victory."

After Namseong Saje Market, Chairman Han visited Seodaemun-gu, actively supporting candidates Park Jin (Seodaemun-eul) and Lee Yong-ho (Seodaemun-gap) while criticizing the Democratic Party and appealing for support.

Chairman Han, standing on the stage set up at Inwang Market with the candidates, emphasized, "Please look at the careers and lives of the candidates we propose," and said, "You cannot find anyone in South Korea better than these two candidates in terms of execution and administrative ability."

He continued, "If things continue as they are, people like Lee Jae-myung and Cho Kuk, along with pro-North Korean factions resembling the Unified Progressive Party, will take control of our Republic of Korea," and said, "The judicial system of Korea, including both the prosecution and the courts, has failed to imprison people like Lee Jae-myung and Cho Kuk." Along with this, he appealed, "They are shamelessly begging the people for votes, and the only ones who can correct this problem are not the courts or the prosecution but you."

The reason Chairman Han focused on touring the Hangang Belt area is closely related to the recent metropolitan area crisis theory.

According to a public opinion poll conducted by Gallup Korea from the 12th to the 14th, surveying 1,002 people aged 18 and over nationwide via wireless telephone interviews, the People Power Party's support rate in Seoul dropped by 15 percentage points from 45% the previous week to 30%. The Democratic Party's support rate rose by 8 percentage points during the same period to 32%. Additionally, controversies continue within and around the ruling party, including the departure of Ambassador Lee Jong-seop to Australia, Chief Hwang Sang-moo's verbal misconduct controversy, and nomination issues related to the proportional satellite party, People’s Future.
