Busan Superintendent of Education Ha Yoon-su Sets Out for School, Launches 'Commuting Safety' Campaign

Ha Yoon-su, Superintendent of Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, took to the elementary school school routes.


On the 19th at 8:10 a.m., Superintendent Ha conducted a joint public-private school commute safety campaign near Changsin Elementary School in Yeonje-gu to establish safe school routes for the new semester.


The campaign was held with the participation of Superintendent Ha Yoon-su, education office officials, Joo Seok-su, Mayor of Yeonje-gu, Kang Oh-saeng, Chief of Yeonje Police Station, Councilor Kim Mi-hwa, and members of the Yeonje Green Mothers' Association.

They greeted children on their way to school, inspected the Changsin Elementary School commute routes, and carried out campaign activities targeting vehicle drivers and students.


To create safe school routes, they provided guidance on the ‘Enforcement of the Revised Road Traffic Act,’ ‘Compliance with vehicle speed limits in school zones,’ and ‘Prohibition of illegal parking.’ They also held a meeting to address safety issues related to the Changsin Elementary School commute routes following the occupancy of Lake County.


Superintendent Ha Yoon-su stated, “To create school routes where children can go safely and securely, parents, local residents, and related organizations must all take an interest and participate,” adding, “The education office will do its utmost to cooperate with them to ensure the safety of students’ school routes.”
