KCC Glass Launches 'Sup Dodam' Flooring for Pet-Owning Households

KCC Glass's interior specialty brand ‘HomeCC Interior’ has launched the PVC flooring 'Sup Dodam' to target the 15 million pet-owning households.

Sup Dodam is the first product in the PVC flooring industry to obtain the ‘Pet Product Certification (PS Certification)’ granted by the Korea Kennel Club and the nationally accredited testing institution KOTITI Testing & Research Institute, verifying its safety suitability for pets.

It applies both a high-strength transparent layer and a highly elastic cushion layer with excellent durability against surface indentation and scratches, reducing flooring damage caused by pets' claws such as friction or scratches. It also improves pets' walking comfort and absorbs shocks applied to their paws and joints during jumping or landing.

Additionally, compared to wood flooring or tile products, it has fewer seams, making cleaning easier even in case of pet accidents and eliminating concerns about contamination through gaps. Compared to wood-based flooring, it is resistant to moisture and various types of contamination. The surface UV coating layer contains cypress oil, which has deodorizing effects, helping maintain a clean indoor environment.

Along with this, the product's safety has been recognized through various eco-friendly certifications such as the Environmental Label Certification, HB Mark, and the Korean Atopy Association Recommended Product Mark.

The design reflecting interior trends also stands out. Sup Dodam has been newly revamped by adding six new design patterns that faithfully reproduce the feel of natural materials such as stone and wood, reflecting consumers' recent preference for natural material designs.
