On the 19th, KB Securities forecasted that Lotte Information & Communication would continue its growth trend due to the group's ongoing digital transformation demand and the acquisition of large-scale projects.
Han Jeyoon, a researcher at KB Securities, explained, "EVSIS, the electric vehicle charging subsidiary that showed over 50% growth last year, will also drive high growth this year," adding, "We expect it to demonstrate both stable performance and growth potential."
He continued, "EVSIS, which had focused only on the domestic market, is preparing for overseas expansion this year," and added, "We also anticipate securing additional growth through acquiring overseas customers."
Han emphasized, "This year, attention should also be paid to the metaverse and artificial intelligence (AI) businesses," noting, "With the launch of Apple's Vision Pro, the virtual reality (VR) market's potential for expansion has increased." He further stated, "Caliburs is a platform business that requires an increase in VR users," and stressed, "If Apple's VR device launch leads to a rise in user numbers, Lotte Information & Communication's Caliburs could also proceed with full-scale business development."
He explained, "Lotte Information & Communication owns an AI platform called ‘SmartRion,’ developed as an in-house model," adding, "SmartRion is an AI platform developed to improve the productivity of affiliated companies." He continued, "The initial client base is solid, and there is potential for client expansion," and expressed expectations that "the group's willingness to utilize AI may accelerate the timing of full-scale business operations beyond market expectations."
