This marks his second consecutive win following last week’s Arnold Palmer Invitational, his 8th career victory, and a winner’s prize of $4.5 million (approximately 6 billion KRW).

His performance in the final 4th round, starting tied for 6th place, 5 strokes behind, was remarkable. He recorded no bogeys, with 1 eagle and 6 birdies. In the 50th edition of this tournament, he made history as the first player to win back-to-back titles.
