Jo Guk, leader of the Jo Guk Innovation Party, received the number 2 spot on the proportional representation candidate list for the general election to be held on the 10th of next month. Park Eun-jung, former Ministry of Justice Inspection Officer, was placed at number 1, reserved for female candidates.
Im Yu-won, the party's election committee chairperson, announced the results of the national participatory electorate voting at the party headquarters in Yeouido on the afternoon of the 18th. Numbers 3 to 5 were assigned to Lee Hae-min, former Google Senior Product Manager, Shin Jang-sik, the party's chief spokesperson, and Kim Seon-min, former president of the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service, respectively. Kim Jun-hyung, former president of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy, was assigned number 6, and singer Lia (real name Kim Jae-won) received number 7.
Hwang Un-ha, a lawmaker who left the Democratic Party to join, was placed at number 8.
Following them, Jeong Chun-saeng, former Blue House Secretary for Women and Family Affairs; Cha Gyu-geun, former head of the Ministry of Justice Immigration Office; Kang Kyung-sook, former member of the National Education Council plenary session; and Seo Wang-jin, former president of the Seoul Institute, were assigned numbers 9 through 12, respectively.
