The 'Muchangpo Jjukkumi and Dodari Festival' in Boryeong, Chungnam, will be held from the 23rd to April 14th at Muchangpo Beach.


The festival will feature various events such as barehanded fishing and beach activities, as well as foods made using local specialties.


Jjukkumi, a representative spring dish of Boryeong City, is rich in zinc and iron, which help prevent anemia, while dodari is known to be effective in boosting immunity due to its high omega-3 fatty acid content.


Mayor Kim Dong-il said, "The Muchangpo Jjukkumi and Dodari Festival is one of the representative festivals that herald spring in Boryeong City," adding, "Delicious and healthy foods and various programs are prepared, so we hope many people will participate."
