Let’s Run Park Busan Gyeongnam, the largest ‘family park’ in Busan and Gyeongnam, offers a festival-like spring experience.
Let’s Run Park will begin nighttime operations starting from the 29th of this month. There’s no need to go to an amusement park to find thrilling rides. Nor do you need to travel all the way to Jeju to ride horses.
Operated by the public enterprise Korea Racing Authority, there is no cost burden, and a variety of spring events unfold across the vast 380,000-pyeong area, waiting for spring visitors.
First, there is a must-visit course at Let’s Run Park Busan Gyeongnam. At Pony Land Children’s Riding Center located to the right of the Jungmun entrance, children can enjoy horse riding experiences and take memorable photos for just 2,000 won.
Also, the year-round large sledding hill, Sled Hill, which stretches 90 meters, is a must. Located to the left of Derby Land Plaza, you can ride up to three times for 2,000 won. It’s an opportunity to enjoy thrilling heights and speed.
Jumping and bouncing on the mountain-shaped trampoline bouncing dome makes you forget the time. You can also board the Let’s Run Tour bus to visit where the racehorses stay. Not only can you meet the horses directly in the stables where they live, but you also have the chance to explore the animal hospital to see how the massive racehorses weighing up to 500kg receive medical care.
If you’re lucky, you can watch racehorses swimming and blowing bubbles in the horse swimming pool. As spring arrives and colorful flowers begin to bloom, Let’s Run Park gradually dresses in spring attire. When the full cherry blossom season arrives, the 1.5km internal road from the main gate of Let’s Run Park Busan Gyeongnam to the park ticket office is beautifully lined with cherry blossoms on both sides.
Moreover, the view of the spring racetrack from the grandstand, the horse racing viewing building, offers a refreshing spring atmosphere. Eco Land, which is popular as a daycare and family picnic spot, is also a favored walking course in spring and autumn. The sculptures and playground equipment scattered along the long Eco Land walking trail provide fun sights to enjoy. You can also enjoy the spacious park surrounding Eco Land, a perfect scene for picnics in the spring breeze and tree shade.
Nighttime horse racing, which was only held in midsummer, has come to the flower viewing season for the first time this year. When the race begins under the nighttime lights that chase away the darkness, you can fully enjoy the heavy breathing of the racehorses, the sound of hooves, and the intense movements of the jockeys.
During the nighttime racing period, Let’s Run Park Busan Gyeongnam offers various performances and diverse entertainment such as a walk challenge event, a campnic zone renting picnic supplies, a non-alcoholic pub, survival quizzes, mobile E-Sports competitions, and niche busking.
Photo zones to capture memories and various flea markets will also open. On April 20th, a special performance by a famous singer will be held.
