The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will start a document delivery service from March that directly delivers documents from the Education Support Office's document mailbox to schools.
This is being promoted as one of the tasks to improve school work efficiency, aimed at alleviating the workload of schools where new tasks are continuously being introduced and supporting schools to focus on educational activities.
The Provincial Office of Education decided to implement the document delivery service from March for about 930 schools to reduce the burden of document handling at schools.
To this end, a budget of about 140 million won will be provided, and 25 Education Support Offices will establish support plans to deliver documents once or twice a month by courier, outsourcing, or direct delivery according to regional and school conditions.
Kim Seungho, the School Work Improvement Officer at the Provincial Office of Education, said, "We will evaluate the performance and satisfaction of the project implementation and expand it," adding, "We will continuously discover and improve tasks requested by schools in the field to help schools focus on educational activities."
