The FC Seoul×KB Securities Soccer Class is a project in which KB Securities, GS Sports, and World Vision collaborate to select 40 vulnerable children in Seoul and provide free soccer lessons. This project will run for about 10 months from March to December this year, during which KB Securities will support all aspects of the soccer class operation, including lesson fees, uniforms, and sports equipment.
Through this program, KB Securities expects to contribute to creating a more inclusive and healthy society by providing children with opportunities to develop cooperation and empathy skills through sports.
The launch ceremony, held before FC Seoul's home game on the 16th, was attended by Kim Seong-hyun, CEO of KB Securities, Yeo Eun-joo, CEO of GS Sports, and FC Seoul's representative soccer player Ki Sung-yueng. Player Ki will serve as the honorary director of the FC Seoul×KB Securities Soccer Class and deliver meaningful advice to the children.
KB Securities and FC Seoul invited the families of the selected children to the stadium to support free game viewing and arranged opportunities to meet FC Seoul soccer players in person and receive autographs. CEO Kim Seong-hyun met the children, delivering a small gift along with words of encouragement. Kim said, "I hope this helps children, who are the future of our society, grow into confident talents who can contribute to society beyond simply learning soccer," adding, "KB Securities will continue to strive to be a company that takes the lead in fulfilling corporate social responsibility."
