Launch of Video Service 'Meet'
Channel Corporation announced on the 18th that it has introduced the voice and video call service "Meet" to its AI messenger "Channel Talk." As a result, Channel Talk now features video call functionality in addition to its existing chat, email, and AI internet phone services.
Meet is characterized by enabling seamless consultation between agents and customers by switching to voice and video call consultations with a button click within the chat window. In particular, the video call includes a screen sharing feature, allowing immediate identification and resolution of issues such as product defects or damage. It can also be used for internal communication like group calls and video meetings among team members, enhancing work efficiency.
Channel Corporation developed and piloted the Meet service over three months, inspired by the desire of Channel Talk’s clients to continue consultations via voice and video calls without leaving or closing the chat window during chat consultations. The service is now available worldwide, including in Korea, Japan, and the United States.
Choi Siwon, CEO of Channel Corporation, stated, “With the Meet feature, we expect it to be used in various areas by quickly identifying and resolving customer issues and contributing to sales by enabling face-to-face conversations.”
