Deepnoid, a company specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) solution development, is expected to see significant growth in sales and operating profit this year, driven by a surge in demand in sectors such as electric vehicles, secondary batteries, and semiconductors.
On the 18th, analyst Jo Jeong-hyun of Hana Securities forecasted in a report that Deepnoid would achieve sales of 20.6 billion KRW and an operating profit of 5.2 billion KRW this year. Considering that the company recorded sales of 860 million KRW and an operating loss of 5.37 billion KRW up to the third quarter of last year, this represents a substantial improvement in performance.
Deepnoid supplies key products including ‘DeepFactory,’ an industrial AI inspection equipment solution; ‘DeepSecurity,’ an AI X-ray solution for security; and ‘DeepNeuro,’ an AI imaging diagnostic solution for cerebral aneurysms. Analyst Jo projected, "As Deepnoid increases solution supply to factories in electric vehicle and secondary battery sectors this year, it will achieve approximately 12.1 billion KRW in sales from the DeepFactory segment and about 8.5 billion KRW from the DeepSecurity segment."
He added, "In October last year, Deepnoid secured orders worth 7.5 billion KRW for machine vision solutions from a global secondary battery client, commercializing the first secondary battery machine vision AI solution in Korea. This year, it is expected to expand applications not only through additional orders from North American secondary battery companies but also to display and semiconductor factories."
Hana Securities also anticipated that Deepnoid would receive visible orders in the DeepSecurity segment this year. Deepnoid has already established supply references for DeepSecurity with public institutions such as Korea Airports Corporation, Gimpo Airport, and the Presidential Security Service, as well as major domestic corporations.
Analyst Jo stated, "AI solution sales will also expand in non-industrial fields such as security," and forecasted, "Medical AI sales will also begin in earnest with the application of non-reimbursed services by DeepNeuro in the first half of the year."
He continued, "In collaboration with Cognex, Deepnoid plans to develop and apply a generative AI-based solution capable of learning multimodal information such as text, images, videos, and voice, making it the first in the world," emphasizing, "With recognized technological capabilities, sales expansion will accelerate starting this year."
