The mid-size cabriolet sedan 'A5' from Audi will be released in South Korea as a model year update.
Audi Korea announced on the 18th that it will launch the 2024 model of the 'Audi A5 Cabriolet 45 TFSI Quattro Premium.'
The 'Audi A5 Cabriolet 45 TFSI Quattro Premium' is equipped with an inline 4-cylinder gasoline direct injection turbocharger (TFSI) engine and a 7-speed S tronic transmission. It delivers a maximum of 265 horsepower and a peak torque of 37.7 kgf·m.
The all-wheel-drive system 'Quattro' distributes driving force according to driving conditions. Combined with the 7-speed S tronic automatic transmission, it enables dynamic driving. The time to accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h is 6.0 seconds, and the top speed is 210 km/h. Fuel efficiency is rated at 10.7 km/l combined (9.5 km/l city, 12.5 km/l highway). The 'Drive Select' system allows adjustment of the driving style to optimize performance according to road conditions and personal preference.
On the exterior, it features 19-inch 5-arm cutter design wheels and an aluminum windshield frame. The fabric soft top excels in insulation and soundproofing and opens and closes in 15 seconds at speeds below 50 km/h. The 'Matrix LED headlights and LED taillights' provide a denser arrangement of light beams with higher brightness than standard LEDs, and the brightness can be freely adjusted. The interior includes a black headlining, a 3-spoke multifunction leather steering wheel with shift paddles and heating function, and a glossy black center console accent.
This model year adds solar-powered wireless Hi-Pass. It is equipped with a head-up display (HUD) on the front windshield of the driver's seat for easy viewing of driving information and navigation directions, front and rear parking assist systems, a 360° surround view camera, and park assist. Safety features include the lane departure prevention system 'Active Lane Assist,' 'Pre Sense City' which issues emergency warnings and automatically brakes if the driver does not respond depending on the front situation, 'Side Assist,' and front seat front and side knee airbags.
The vehicle price is 82.9 million KRW including VAT. In addition to the basic free consumables maintenance coupon provided to vehicle purchasers, customers who purchase the 2024 model will receive an additional six one-way trips of the 'Pickup and Delivery Service,' which can be reserved online or by phone, for three years.
