On the 17th, a post titled "Did I really get targeted by this new employee?" was uploaded to an online community, sparking attention. The author, A, who is currently working, said, "A new employee who joined in March brought a book today and was reading it," adding, "It wasn't a book helpful for work; one side had a few lines of text, and the other side had emotional drawings."

A explained, "Since there wasn't much work assigned, I thought it was fine, but I told them, 'Don't read the book; watch the flow of work,'" and "Then they closed the book with a very displeased expression and clicked the mouse with a sulky face," describing the situation.

What seemed like the end of the dispute with the new employee flared up again when the new employee changed their KakaoTalk profile picture. Looking at the new employee's profile picture posted by A, the background was set with an image that said, 'Mind your own business.' The profile picture featured 'Yangpa Kungya' from the animation 'Yangpaburakri,' which is used as a meme called 'Clear-eyed Madman' on social networking services (SNS), with the speech bubble text saying, 'Even a guy like that lives well.' Moreover, the one-line introduction read 'SeneolbXpuhkick,' which is an abbreviation of 'The world is wide, and there are many XX (a derogatory term for people who behave poorly). Puhkick (laughing sound).'

A said, "When I told a senior colleague I work with that the new employee's KakaoTalk profile picture was strange, the senior showed me their own profile, which had a selfie," and "When I told the new employee, 'I know you set multi-profiles only for me,' they just kept repeating 'What?' pretending to be flustered. They never apologized until the end," A claimed. Multi-profile is a feature that allows users to show different profiles to different people in their friend list.

Netizens who read the story responded with comments such as, "Even such a person gets hired," "Setting a multi-profile like that is so childish. They don't seem ready for society yet," "The problem is that there are more new employees like this these days. They never apologize and just hold out," "The boss should set a profile too," "They probably think they're cool," and "I don't understand how young people these days think setting their KakaoTalk like that will calm their anger."
