ResearchAlum emphasized on the 18th that as future industries such as artificial intelligence (AI) and autonomous driving develop, the importance of communication infrastructure will increase, urging attention to SensorView.

Founded in 2015, SensorView is a specialized materials, components, and equipment company for ultra-high-speed wired and wireless communication connections. It supplies millimeter wave (mmWave) radio frequency (RF) solutions leading the 5G and 6G ecosystems. mmWave refers to radio waves with a frequency band of 24 to 100 GHz and a wavelength of 1 to 10 mm, applied in 5G and 6G. Through broadband transmission, it can be utilized in advanced industries such as autonomous driving.

Woo Hwirang, a researcher at ResearchAlum, explained, "SensorView's major clients include Samsung Electro-Mechanics, Samsung Electronics, Qualcomm, SpaceX, Hanwha Systems, and Korea Aerospace Industries," and added, "Based on technology and supply achievements recognized by key domestic and international companies, it is expected to expand its business areas from 5G to 6G, semiconductors, defense, satellites, and autonomous driving."

He continued, "The technology level is world-class," analyzing that "by applying nano material processing core technology to cables, it is possible to achieve up to 12% faster wave propagation speed, 25% higher dielectric constant, and 50 to 90% reduction in manufacturing costs compared to competitors."

He further emphasized, "It possesses the only ‘connector design technology’ that meets the ultra-small transmission line specifications required by 5G leading company Qualcomm," and stated, "It was selected as a solution vendor for Qualcomm's base station products."
