Recruitment of Merchants for Pohang Night Sea 'Market Pier 9' Until the 22nd

Pohang Cultural Foundation will open the marine gourmet festival ‘Market Pier 9’ at the Guryongpo breakwater every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from April 12 to June 2.

An explanatory meeting was held at 11 a.m. on the 14th at the Guryongpo-eup Administrative Welfare Center, and official participating merchants are being recruited until the 22nd ahead of the official operation of the marine gourmet market ‘Market Pier 9’.

Through nine pilot projects last year, a cumulative total of about 24,000 tourists visited. Sixteen food truck teams and a total of 19 local merchants and market merchants participated, achieving total sales of more than 83 million won.

Also, as a result of conducting an on-site satisfaction survey to identify satisfaction and areas for improvement in overall food and beverage, convenience, market products, and performances, 88.4% of respondents showed very high satisfaction, marking a meaningful achievement.

Living up to the title of the nation’s first marine gourmet festival, it is expected to be operated with richer content and a variety of food and attractions.
