Golf Membership Market Shows Stable Trend in Spring Season

According to the Donga Membership Trading Center on the 16th, the average price of 100 major memberships traded nationwide is 257.32 million KRW, up 0.01% compared to last week. By price range, the high-price segment rose 0.36%, the mid-price segment 0.31%, and the low-price segment 0.10%. Only the ultra-high-price segment fell by 0.07%. The Donga Membership Trading Center stated, "As the weather has warmed up considerably, golf courses are crowded day after day," adding, "There are many inquiries for both buying and selling golf memberships." They further predicted, "The bid-ask spread between sellers and buyers is wide, so trading volume is not high. The cautious competition will intensify amid this steady market."

The average price in the central region is 291.65 million KRW, with no change from last week. The 88 membership surged 1.67% due to strong buying demand. Giheung rose 0.35%, New Seoul 0.52%, Hanyang 1.67%, and Suwon 0.82%. Songchu jumped 1.47% as corporate buying increased. Freedom fell 1.69% due to decreased buying demand, while Jungbu rose 3.33%. Team leader Moon Jong-sung said, "The period of preparing for the spring season is coming to an end. We need to observe whether prices will pause or continue to show strength."

The average price in the southern region is 168.47 million KRW, up 0.07% from last week. Gyeongju Shilla and Dongnae Benest saw additional buying orders, rising 1.35% and 2.78%, respectively. Mauna Ocean jumped 2.50% as selling prices rose amid increased buying inquiries. Opal also matched selling prices and jumped 2.78%. Bayside is experiencing a shortage of listings. Team leader Lee Yoon-hee analyzed, "In the southern membership market, popular items continue to have waiting buyers. It is expected to show a strong steady market for a while."
