Workplaces can self-assess the establishment and implementation of safety and health management systems to prevent major accidents and prepare for the Serious Accidents Punishment Act through participation in the Industrial Safety Comprehensive Diagnosis, and improve safety levels by linking with government-tailored support projects.
During this intensive week, 150 small and medium-sized enterprises facing difficulties in establishing and implementing safety and health management systems were directly visited to support self-diagnosis and provide guidance on how to apply for government-linked projects.
Kim Panki, head of the Gyeongnam Eastern Branch, stated, "Participation in the Industrial Safety Comprehensive Diagnosis is essential to improve safety levels following the expanded enforcement of the Serious Accidents Punishment Act," and added, "We will continue to strive to eliminate safety blind spots in small and medium-sized enterprises."
