On the 14th, Park Yeon-jae, Commissioner of the Yeongsan River Basin Environmental Office, visited the Damyang Waste Vinyl Processing Plant located in Damyang County along with the Special Committee on Fine Dust Countermeasures to inspect the facility. They emphasized, "During the 5th Fine Dust Seasonal Management Period, it is crucial to focus on the collection and proper disposal of agricultural waste to prevent illegal burning, which is a major cause of fine dust in rural areas, for a full-scale response in spring."
