According to Shinan Police on the 14th, during the briefing, detailed explanations were given on the number of 112 emergency calls in Shinan-gun, crime occurrences and traffic accident status, customer satisfaction with policing, and perceived safety.
Chief Lee Eul-shin stated, “We will do our best to strengthen sincere policing activities by establishing the village police officer system and participating in cooperative group activities for the early discovery of missing persons such as elderly dementia patients, and to improve the arrest rate for agricultural product theft.”
He also urged, “We ask residents to keep an eye on their surroundings to ensure that human rights violations against salt farm and aquaculture workers never occur again in Shinan.”
