A Mercedes-Benz vehicle, found slanted atop a taxi at the busy Gyeongbu Expressway 'Mannam Plaza' rest area, is becoming a hot topic.

On the 13th, an online community post titled "Found someone who parked in a strange way" was uploaded. As of 8 PM on the 13th, the post has garnered 360,242 views, showing high interest. The author, Mr. A, said, "I came to Mannam Plaza and saw someone who parked in a fun way, so I’m sharing it," adding, "I don’t know how they managed to park like that. It’s really amazing."


In the photos shared by Mr. A, a Mercedes-Benz is seen diagonally wedged between a parked taxi and a Carnival vehicle. The left wheels are completely lifted, touching the top of the taxi, while the right side of the car body is in contact with the Carnival. A man is also seen looking at the scene with curiosity.

After the story was shared, various speculations about the accident spread among netizens. Netizen B claimed, "It looks like the Carnival hit the Mercedes-Benz. You can see the rear light of the front car broken and lying on the ground," and added, "It seems the Mercedes-Benz hit the taxi’s rear wheel and bounced up."


Other netizens reacted with comments such as, "The side of the adjacent taxi is intact, so how on earth did this happen?", "Do modern Mercedes-Benz cars have a technology to lift one side?", "Maybe it has a habit of sleeping sideways," "Doing a car circus," and "Maybe the Mercedes-Benz fell from the sky."


Meanwhile, Mannam Plaza rest area, which opened on June 24, 1988, is the first highway rest stop heading toward Busan on the Gyeongbu Expressway. Vehicles entering the Gyeongbu Expressway from the cargo terminal direction can access the rest area directly via a separate side road. Also, by coming down from Yangjae Citizen’s Forest Station to Cheonggyesan-ro and then entering along the river toward the highway side, it is possible to use the rest area even without any vehicles present.
