This campaign was conducted to participate in overcoming the national blood supply crisis caused by the aging blood donor population, and was carried out with the Korean Red Cross Gwangju-Jeonnam Blood Center using blood donation vehicles.
Jeong Sumi, head of LH Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Headquarters, stated, “The appropriate level of blood for transfusions and emergency blood needed by medical institutions in the Gwangju-Jeonnam area is collapsing, so I hope this can be of even small help to the local community.”
LH participates in sharing life through blood donations every year and plans to continue blood donation activities quarterly this year as well.
