At around 9:50 AM on the 13th, a 6.5-ton cargo truck traveling from Sujeong Tunnel in Dong-gu, Busan towards Pier 5 crashed into the guardrail on the right side of the overpass and was left hanging off a cliff.

Fragments of the damaged guardrail fell below the overpass, colliding with and damaging vehicles passing underneath.

The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident involving the driver, a man in his 40s. The driver sustained minor injuries and is reported not to have been driving under the influence.
