On the 13th, the Korea Post announced that on the 29th of last month, a commendation complaint titled "It's touching. Thank you" was posted on the National Petition Board. The author, Mr. Lee, stated, "My child wrote a letter to Santa Claus but couldn't send it last Christmas," adding, "She wanted to send it belatedly, so I put it in the mailbox without a stamp. I thought it would be returned." However, he wrote, "The next day, my child came back surprised, saying she received a reply and a gift from Santa Claus. Earlier last month, Mr. Lee's daughter, 5-year-old Oh Haram, put a handwritten letter in the mailbox that read, "Santa Claus, I brushed my teeth well, so please give me a Lego gift. I love you." Upon seeing this letter, Lee Dong-woo, a postal officer at Nam Ulsan Post Office, introduced himself as "Santa Claus" and replied, "Please continue to brush your teeth well and be a child who listens to your parents." Officer Lee prepared and delivered a gift for Haram along with the reply.

Upon learning this, Mr. Lee said, "The postal worker must be busy with his duties, but he kindly replied and even gave a gift to my child's letter, which brought me to tears," adding, "It was healing in my busy daily life, and from now on, I will live generously and with ease. Thanks to this, our family was very happy."

When this story became a hot topic, Officer Lee shared his thoughts: "It could have been something easily overlooked, but I wanted to give the child a precious memory, hoping she lives in this world with a bright and pure heart."

Netizens responded with comments such as, "He gave the child a precious memory to cherish for a lifetime," "I should live more generously too. I wish happiness always," "A heartwarming story," and "I feel warmth from the child's pure heart and the postal worker's good deed."
