The KOSPI successfully surpassed the 2700 mark after reclaiming its previous high in the early session.


As of 9:39 AM on the 13th, the KOSPI stood at 2700.15, up 18.34 points (0.68%) from the previous trading day.


By investor type, individual investors are net sellers with 46.7 billion KRW. In contrast, institutions and foreigners are net buyers with 18.6 billion KRW and 26.1 billion KRW, respectively.


By sector, securities are up more than 4%. Finance, machinery, and insurance sectors are rising over 2%. Meanwhile, retail and electric & gas industries are slightly down.


Among the top market capitalization stocks, Samsung Electronics is trading at 74,000 KRW, up 700 KRW (0.95%) from the previous day. Additionally, KB Financial is up over 7%, and LG Chem is up more than 2%.


The KOSDAQ recorded 891.12, up 1.41 points (0.16%).


By investor type, foreigners and institutions are net sellers with 125.6 billion KRW and 30.2 billion KRW, respectively. Meanwhile, individuals are net buyers with 164.5 billion KRW.


By sector, the internet sector is up more than 2%. IT components, software, and retail sectors are rising over 1%. Conversely, broadcasting services and digital content sectors are down within 1%.


Among the top market capitalization stocks, EcoPro BM traded at 260,000 KRW, down 2,000 KRW (0.76%) from the previous day. EO Technics is up more than 2%, and HLB is up over 1%. On the other hand, Sinseong Delta Tech is down more than 3%. Alteogen and JYP Ent. are down over 1%.
