LG Electronics announced on the 13th that it will begin selling the washer-dryer 'LG Tromm Objet Collection Wash Combo.' It is a standard model priced about 2.4 million KRW cheaper than the 'LG Signature Washer-Dryer,' which went on sale last month.

The Tromm Wash Combo has washing and drying capacities of 25kg and 15kg, respectively. Its compact size is comparable to that of a single Tromm washing machine of the same class.

To maintain the product size while ensuring sufficient drying performance, LG Electronics newly developed an inverter heat pump drying module dedicated to washer-dryers. This technology uses a low-temperature dehumidification method that circulates refrigerant to utilize the generated heat to absorb moisture contained in the laundry, which is advantageous for fabric protection. It also applies inverter technology that adjusts motor speed to operate only as much as needed depending on the situation, resulting in high energy efficiency. Compared to heater-type washer-dryers, the new product reduces energy consumption by 50% (based on 5kg of laundry). The drying power consumption of the Tromm Wash Combo is about 570W.

One notable feature of the Tromm Wash Combo is its AI mode, which can complete washing and drying 3kg of laundry (50% cotton, 50% polyester) in 99 minutes. Users can also schedule drying to finish at a desired time via the LG ThinQ app. It is equipped with a deep learning AI DD motor that provides customized washing and drying with six motions that reduce fabric damage through deep learning AI technology.

A 4kg-capacity pulsator washing machine called 'Mini Wash' can be additionally installed at the bottom, allowing the drum washer, dryer, and Mini Wash to be used as a 3-in-1 system. The new 'Slide Dust Filter' removes dust easily by sliding dust inside the filter. The 'Automatic Detergent Drawer' is located at the top, enabling users to add detergent or fabric softener comfortably without bending over.

The new product is an UP appliance that allows users to add desired functions as upgrades when needed via the LG ThinQ app. Features such as microplastic care courses and laundry care after completion can be utilized. The shipment price of the Tromm Wash Combo is 4.49 million KRW.
