Gurye-gun Maechun Library Opens Maechun Academy Lectures

Maecheon Library in Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it will recruit students for the 2024 Maecheon Academy courses from the 18th to the 27th of this month.

This Maecheon Academy offers three courses: Basics of Writing (Jeong Ji-a), Reading Academy with a Bookteller List (Yoon Hae-ja), and Writing with Photography (Won Yoo-heon). The courses will be held from April 2 to June 26.

'Basics of Writing' is a course designed for those who want to write but do not know what to write about, led by writer Jeong Ji-a, who authored "Father's Liberation Diary."

In the 'Bookteller List's Heart Healing Reading Method' course, bookteller list instructor Yoon Hae-ja shares ways to communicate with others and take care of oneself through reading aloud.

'Writing with Photography' is a project selected by the Jeonnam Provincial Library, where writer Won Yoo-heon teaches how to record emotions through photography.

A Maecheon Library official said, "We hope many residents will show interest and participate in the Maecheon Academy, which helps relieve daily stress and create leisure in life."
