Dongwon F&B's 'Denmark High Yogurt' Surpasses 3 Million Bottles Sold in One Month Since Launch

Danish Probiotics and Respiratory Patent Ingredients
Three Trends Including Sugar Reduction Drive Popularity

Dongwon F&B announced on the 12th that its premium liquid fermented milk product, 'Denmark Hi (Hej!) Yogurt,' launched last month, has surpassed cumulative sales of 3 million bottles within just one month. Dongwon F&B attributed the initial success to the combination of three trends in one bottle: Danish probiotics, patented respiratory ingredients, and reduced sugar content.

Dongwon F&B's 'Denmark High Yogurt' Surpasses 3 Million Bottles Sold in One Month Since Launch

Denmark Hi Yogurt is a liquid fermented milk product that guarantees 10 billion CFU (colony-forming units), including probiotics sourced from Denmark, which can help support gut health. Notably, it contains patented respiratory probiotics developed by GC Green Cross Wellbeing through four years of research and development, as well as zinc for immune function, calcium for bone formation, and vitamin D. Additionally, reflecting the low-sugar trend, its sugar content is reduced by more than 35% compared to the average of the top three liquid fermented milk products in sales, making it easy to enjoy without concern.

Dongwon F&B plans to expand sales channels to corporate supermarkets (SSM), warehouse discount stores, and online platforms, and aims to grow Denmark Hi Yogurt into a hit product with annual sales of around 30 billion KRW through online and offline promotions and various marketing activities.

A Dongwon F&B representative stated, “Denmark Hi Yogurt is popular among all age groups not only because it contains Danish probiotics and various functional ingredients but also because of its reduced sugar content. We will continue to introduce a diverse lineup of fermented milk products to build the image of ‘Denmark’ as a specialized probiotic brand.”
