The Jeongeup City Public Health Center in Jeollabuk-do is recruiting surveyors for the "2024 Community Health Survey," conducted jointly with the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency and Wonkwang University.
According to the city on the 11th, the Community Health Survey is conducted in accordance with Article 4 of the Regional Health Act and Article 2 of the Enforcement Decree of the Regional Health Act to assess the health status and lifestyle habits of local residents. The data collected serves as a basis for making rational decisions in planning and evaluating public health projects.
A total of six people will be recruited, and anyone aged 20 or older who can use computers and the internet is eligible to apply.
Applicants who reside in Jeongeup or are familiar with local conditions and have work experience will be given preference.
The application period is from the 11th to the 22nd, and detailed eligibility requirements and submission documents can be found on the city’s official website.
Selected surveyors will visit sample households chosen as survey targets from May 16 to July 31 to conduct one-on-one interviews with adults aged 19 or older.
Son Hee-kyung, director of the Public Health Center, said, "All data collected through the Community Health Survey is important for establishing customized health policies for our region," adding, "Survey data is strictly confidential under the Statistics Act, so we ask residents to actively participate when surveyors visit."
