The training is organized into eleven courses across four fields. These include understanding personnel and administrative artifacts, basic training for new buried cultural heritage investigators (both basic education), practical SHAPE file creation, understanding artifact measurement, excavation fieldwork, methods for investigating iron production sites, management and conservation treatment of excavated artifacts (all specialized education), safety management systems and related laws, customized safety management practices for excavation sites, first aid at excavation sites (all safety education), and basic archaeology for practitioners (general education).

The Cultural Heritage Administration will additionally organize customized training by difficulty level, comprehensively considering the job characteristics and proficiency according to the rank of the participants, and will expand practical training to strengthen the field skills of investigators. Furthermore, it will establish a standardized education system by analyzing competencies and demands by rank and job series. Safety education will also be reinforced to effectively respond to accidents at excavation sites. A Cultural Heritage Administration official explained, "Through education on safety management systems and related laws, including the Serious Accident Punishment Act, we aim to improve understanding of relevant laws and safety awareness, and by providing customized safety management practices and first aid training at excavation sites, we will create a safe excavation environment."
